1. The new moon :)
2. Chestnut season evidenced by fallen chestnuts all over the place
3. Empty chestnut shells — squirrels have been working ;)
4. A restorative nap
5. Having Internet back

Why I recommend Leschi Marina to locals

The view of Mount Rainier, the hills, and Lake Washington —even in overcast days like today— against the boats and poles in the foreground is quite spectacular.

Why I recommend Leschi Park to locals

It is a lovely park just off Lake Washington and Leshi Marina.

Today they had just mowed the grass and the smell made it particularly enjoyable :)

I’m grateful for:

1. My very own traveling “gnome” — or my very own traveling “gnuma” ;)
2. A nice long walk home from Leschi neighborhood along Lake Washington
3. Starting to hunt for a new home
4. An afternoon to myself
5. A comforting and relaxing shower before going to bed
