Sunset #25

On December 31st, the Popocatépetl volcano spitted the last fumes of the year into the last sun rays of 2009.

A little bit afterwards, after walking around the flower fields and the twilight getting duskier, I faced the volcano again, and the fumes were now in the shape of a huge question mark!! I was stunned. By the time I got my camera out, the fumes had dissipated somewhat, but the ”?” shape can still be distinguished a bit.
Ha! The volcano’s wit to smoke out the big metaphor of 2009: an immense question mark…

Breakfast in bed

To kick off the new year, this morning my sweet loving dog did not come downstairs with me —as she habitually does to go out to the garden and do her business and get her morning treat afterwards. Instead, she stayed in bed while I brewed my morning coffee. So the spoiling mom that I am, I brought her treat upstairs and, literally, served her breakfast in bed! If my dog is not a spoiled bum, I don’t know what is ;)
