Learn and cook

Being one of my grandmothers from the State of Guerrero in Mexico and having myself grown up on pozole, it’s embarrassing that I have never learned to cook it —a delicious soup with corn and pork. There are a few varieties on how to make it, but my favorite one is the green pozole —sooo good and sooo non-diet :P

But today, I offered to cook some of the white kind. So I’m sort of inventing it —with educated guesses ;) Right now, I’m cooking some stock that I’ll be using with some of the chicken to add to the canned corn. We’ll see how it turns out.
