Voilà my brother's sweater

After a good 6-7 times reknitting the neck, I finally finished the sweater. I believe this is a garment that men actually wear, and my brother more willingly so.

But I have to admit the sweater has its flaws: the yarn comes from different lots (a major knitting faux pas), and the difference in the color is evident even in the photo :S I didn’t notice until it was too late. I could still dye it in a darker color to even them out… Another minor pet peeve of mine is that I would’ve liked to have done the armholes half raglan and half straight instead of all raglan, but it would’ve involved a lot more work than it already had. Well, I can always knit more sweaters for him; he won’t complain.

I can confidently say that this is by far the nicest thing I’ve knitted so far. Not only is it in a beautiful pattern, but it’s also a work of love for my favorite person in the world :)
