My new and fulfilling activity in March was accompanying my aunt to her house in Veracruz. Even though the reason to go there was not a happy one —she wanted to check on her house because someone broke in and took the two TVs—, we managed to get over the incident the first night we got there and enjoyed the rest of our stay there. Well, I must say she was still a bit upset to learn that they had also taken her plates and cutlery; she was more upset about them than the old TVs. I can understand and relate to being robbed; there’s a certain uneasiness that lingers. But most of the stuff was still there.
It was delightful to be by the beach, and the weather was glorious and just a bit chilly at night. I took many photos, knitted, read, watched movies, lay in a hammock, walk with Uma on the sand, and just plain enjoy the sights, smells, sounds of the seaside. My biggest pleasure was watching Uma being over-delighted of running on the sand, and her wide smile of pure joy is my dearest memory :)
